Syrena Paul Cole

Officer Manager & Senior Team Lead
Syrena was born and raised south of Tulsa and has worked in the legal profession most of her adult life. After starting at the Rode Law Firm, she has worked her way up to Senior Team Leader and Office Manager. Syrena enjoys the one-on-one contact the Rode Law Firm encourages between attorneys, staff and clients and feels this really helps improve the firm’s ability to help clients and get results. “I particularly enjoy the personal interaction in my job and the smile on clients’ faces when we get them the result they deserve.”

Maggie Lenertz

Claims Specialist

Maggie is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Purchase College in New York in 1985 with a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature. She spent 23 years in the property and casualty insurance industry at several major carriers (including Travelers, The Hartford, Mid-Continent and ConocoPhillips), and in the process earned the designation of Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) from the American Education Association. In her years in the insurance industry, she created training for bodily injury adjusters and taught adjusters how to handle injury claims and negotiate claims. She brings 23 years of claims and litigation experience to the Rode Law Firm. In her spare time, Maggie and her husband, Jim, operate Hazeljane’s Blessings, a shelter rescuing Italian Greyhounds.

Melissa Hernandez

Team Lead
Melissa was born in Texas and has lived in Tulsa for most of her life. She has attended The University of Tulsa College of Law Family Law Program and worked in firms practicing both Family Law and Personal Injury Law. Since joining the Rode Law Firm, Melissa has been promoted to Team Lead. Melissa and her team provide efficient and effective support to the attorneys at the Rode Law Firm. Melissa is working on expanding her abilities by attending Tulsa Community College to obtain a Paralegal Degree.

Pia Rementeria

Team Member
Pia was born and raised in Chile. She moved to Tulsa with her family, and now Tulsa is her home. She was hired to be the receptionist at the Rode Law Firm and has been promoted to executive assistant. Pia prides herself on bringing a positive, warm attitude to the office and efficient support service to our attorneys. Pia is also bi-lingual; as a native Spanish speaker she can translate when needed.

Taylor Rogers

Team Member
Taylor was born and raised along the Atlantic coast in Georgia before marrying a Marine and moving around the country. Upon her husband’s honorable discharge from the service, they put down roots in Oklahoma and started a family. Before working for the Rode Law Firm, Taylor held various positions in the aerospace industry and is able to bring the unique task-oriented skills she acquired processing data to her work in the legal field. She enjoys working at the Rode Law Firm because each day clients bring new and unique challenges that she gets to help work through as part of a team.

Kim Petersen

Team Member
Kim was born and raised in Broken Arrow and currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When she isn’t at work or keeping up with her son, Kim spends time volunteering for several organizations in Tulsa, including Blue Star Mothers, Emergency Infant Services, John 3:16, and Loaves and Fishes. Before coming to work for the Rode Law Firm she worked in Social Security Law and is able to apply the detailed analysis methods she learned to make sure Attorneys at the Rode Law Firm have the best information available to move a case forward.

Amber Baker

Receptionist
Amber was born in Glenpool and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She comes to the Rode Law Firm with a background in customer service with retailers and health insurance providers. Amber is also completing an Associate Degree program to be a Legal Administrative Assistant. She is able to use her background in customer relations to help clients of the Rode Law Firm stay in communication with their attorneys.

Chad was born and raised near Tulsa, Oklahoma, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University. He is currently a second year law student at The University of Tulsa College of Law and anticipates receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2013. At the Rode Law Firm he provides detailed research and writing support for attorneys at the firm.
